Life’s Dilemma
Whole life I kept on thinking
What better could happen to me
Treasure kept lying under my nose
I was so blind I could not see.
Bundles of energy I wasted daydreaming
I kept sleeping tight
All planning and controlling proved meaningless
The beautiful reality I could not realise.
Children laughing, birds singing
All invited me to taste life
But sour always tasted sweet
I kicked away serenity and chose strife.
Mind’s din was so loud
I could not hear my own voice
God kept saying words of wisdom
I rejected Him saying ‘no noise’!
