Osho used to say that Indians were the most material and hypocrite people in the world. Over a period of time I have witnessed and experienced that it’s unfortunately true!
Only two things matter nowadays here, one money and the other is ‘what others would think?’

In a bid to ape the west we have adopted two of their most insane and killing attributes, leaving aside their good ones, and that’s money consciousness and time consciousness. And as far as our good attributes are concerned we anyway never cared about or attached any value to them and have thrown them like waste!
